Standard FRP rods
Standard FRP Rod is a dielectric Composite Strength Member (CSM), widely known as FRP rod. It is most suited for loose tube, uni-tube, slotted core or ribbon cable and is typically used as central or peripheral reinforcement in fiber optic cables.
Key features:
- provide excellent tensile strength performance while maintaining high degree of stiffness, preventing cable buckling over its entire service life;
- available in various coatings including EAA, Hard, Mega Bond and HDPE;
- available from 0.25 mm to 6.0 mm diameter in increment of 0.1 mm with very close dimensional tolerances;
- long continuous standard lengths FRP rod.
